Located among lemons, olive trees immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, the Villa enjoys a spectacular view suspended between sky and sea and overlooks a wonderful village, Praiano, in front of one of the most beautiful views in the world: the island of Capri, the Faraglioni, the Sorrento Peninsula, Positano and the Li Galli Archipelago (formerly owned by Nureiev as well as Isola delle Sirene in the Odyssey of Ulysses).

This prestigious villa retains a fascinating history that dates back many centuries and some traces are still found today in authentic architectural and decorative details kept inside the villa.

Praiano is a beautiful town on the Amalfi Coast that boasts the privilege of being in a unique corner for the incomparable views of the coast and the sea, from the Villa you can witness some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

The door that gives access to the magnificent property consisting of 500 square meters. surrounded by terraces and gardens, it immediately lets you perceive the vibrant sensation of being completely offshore. The house is all in white lime, wrought iron, wood and stone, restored on ancient walls of fascinating Arab architecture, nothing is left to chance. The rooms and rooms are all finely furnished with period furniture and unfold in a succession of barrel vaults, cross vaults, columns and ancient capitals.

From the enchanting private swimming pool set in the sea rock, you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets of Praiano. The Villa has a private cellar with over 100 labels of the best Italian and French wines with the possibility of buying and tasting.

Villa Gaby is perfectly located for exploring the Amalfi Coast: 6.5 km from Positano, 8 km from Amalfi, Pompeii 30 km, Naples airport 60 km, Capri 45 minutes by boat.

The villa is located just minutes from restaurants, bars, pharmacy and grocery stores. You will find the closest restaurant at 200 meters (Kasai), a grocery store at 300 meters, (with free delivery service) the bus stop a few meters away and the closest beach ("la Gavitella") at 800 meters.including 300 steps, or "Marina di Praia" beach 5 minutes by car.

Surrounded by large terraces with lush Mediterranean plants and flowers, the villa boasts stunning sea views from the Li Galli Islands to Capri from Positano.

It is possible to reach Villa Gaby from the main entrance of the building without having to climb any steps (very rare on the Amalfi Coast!)

There is private parking just inside the entrance gate for 2 standard vehicles or 3 small vehicles.

Villa Gaby was built on several levels creating a multitude of splendid terraces. The first terrace is 20 square meters accessible from the first living room through an arched French door. It is equipped with tables and chairs.The second and third terraces are located on the second floor of the villa, measuring 40 square meters each, partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof and lemon trees. They are equipped with tables, chairs, deck chairs and an external shower as well as wooden benches. Here you will also find a brick barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven and 2 sun loungers.

From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea, of Praiano and the Amalfi Coast and in the distance of the small Li Galli islands.

The fourth terrace is 50 square meters. Accessible from the third and fourth bedrooms. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof and is equipped with benches in 18th century Neapolitan majolica, as well as tables, chairs and deck chairs.

The fifth terrace / solarium of 15 square meters with a glass wall, is equipped with 2 sun loungers and an outdoor sitting area.

The ground floor offers the first of several living rooms with high vaulted ceilings and is paved with original handmade terracotta tiles. The dining table can comfortably seat 10 people. The living room leads to the third terrace with a view of the sea and the coast through a French door. The room has two windows with a view of the sea and the Li Galli islands. It is equipped with air conditioning and a service bathroom. The second living room can be accessed from the first living room via an arch.

You can access the mezzanine from the second living room by climbing 13 steps. The mezzanine has a queen-size double bed and a single bed. The ceiling is high and vaulted.From the mezzanine floor you enter the pool area with a view of the sea and the coast through its glass door.

The first floor accesses the second bedroom from the corridor to find a single bed and two arched windows that open onto the first living room. This bedroom has a small en-suite bathroom, with sink, toilet and shower cubicle. There is a small furnished garden on this level.

The second floor is where we find the third and fourth bedroom, one double and one twin. Enter the third bedroom with high vaulted ceilings from the hallway to find a king size bed.The furnishings include an armchair and a desk, satellite television and air conditioning. Large panoramic window for an internal view of the coast or you can go through the glass doors to access the terrace and breathe the sea air in front of you while the brackish wind blows through your hair.

The fourth bedroom has two single beds, which can be pushed together to make a double bed on request - air conditioning. The dimensions and features are similar to the third bedroom. These two bedrooms share a large tiled bathroom with shiny handmade mosaic tiles and is equipped with 2 sinks, separately, toilet and jacuzzi, bathroom as well as air conditioning. You can access the bathroom from the corridor.

The laundry is first accessible from the living room.Here you will find a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.

The swimming pool is 2.5 meters long. x 7 mt. and from 20 cm to 1.6 meters deep there is also the hydromassage corner. The swimming pool area is equipped with table, chairs, sun lounger and a couple of deck chairs. From here you have a splendid view of the sea with the Li Galli islands in the distance. The swimming pool is open from May to the end of October.
